Creating an ecommerce store for a wholesale customer can be a complex process, but with the right tools and expertise, it can be a successful endeavor. In this blog post, we will highlight a use case for a wholesale customer’s requirements for an ecommerce store and how we, as a Shopify expert, managed the project from requirements to go live.
The first step in creating an ecommerce store for a wholesale customer is to understand their needs and requirements. In this case, the customer was looking for a solution that was compatible with Shopify Advanced and integrated with Oracle NetSuite ERP. We were able to provide a solution that met these requirements and more.
One of the key features of the ecommerce store we built was the custom layout for the landing page and front end. We used custom Liquid to create a unique and personalized design that reflected the customer’s brand and messaging. Additionally, we introduced new text blocks based on product/variants/collection using meta fields, which allowed the customer to easily organize and display their products on the website.
Another important feature of the ecommerce store was the development of multiple custom forms. These forms allowed the customer to collect important information from their customers, such as contact details and shipping information.
In addition to custom forms, we also implemented a tiered pricing system for distributor and wholesale customers. This allowed the customer to offer different pricing to different groups of customers, depending on their level of involvement and relationship with the business.
For high volume users, we configured bulk order forms to make it easy for them to place large orders quickly and efficiently.
Finally, we introduced diverse payment options, including authorized net terms and pre-authorized payments, to give customers more flexibility and choice when it comes to paying for their purchases.
Overall, we were able to deliver a comprehensive and customized ecommerce solution that met the needs of our wholesale customer. From custom layouts and forms to tiered pricing and diverse payment options, we were able to provide a solution that was tailored to the customer’s specific requirements and helped them to achieve their business goals.
